From small town Texas to Los Angeles it’s been a long artistic journey spanning over 35 years, From the early beginnings of playing guitar in Texas bands to studying Flamenco guitar in Spain in the 90’s this musical odyssey would eventually land him in Los Angeles. In 2012 after a long career in music Tio bought his first camera to begin creating content for his online music career, thats when his artistic path would drastically change. A new art form had presented itself and instantly re inspired the life long passion for art.

In 2018 Tio was invited to present his artwork at the “lines of sight” photography show at Quixote studios in Hollywood

In 2020 Tio was one of the winners of APA’s “off the clock” competion chosen by legendary gallerist and curator David Fahey.
